Police identify motorcyclist killed in wrong-way Covington crash


A 39-year-old motorcyclist is dead following a wrong-way crash in Covington, Kentucky. The three-vehicle crash happened around 8:40 p.m. Monday on Kentucky 17 in front of Pioneer Park. According to crash investigators, a vehicle leaving Pioneer Park turned northbound into southbound lanes of Kentucky 17, striking a southbound motorcycle. The motorcyclist, identified as Donald Jobe, of Covington, was pronounced dead at the scene. A third car was also struck in the crash. No other injuries were reported, and no charges have yet been filed in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
