5 things to know about USWNT midfielder Rose Lavelle

The start of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics are drawing closer each day and athletes from Cincinnati will be well-represented. 

The Queen City's representation includes Rose Lavelle, the 26-year-old Cincinnati native and standout soccer star who was named to the U.S. Women's Soccer Olympic roster in June. This will be her first time at the Olympics.

Lavelle attended Mount Notre Dame High School

Lavelle was born in Cincinnati and attended Mount Notre Dame High School, where she was a four-year varsity player on the girl's soccer team.
