While you're doing your spring cleaning, consider bringing your used electronics to Cincinnati's electronics recycling and shred event.According to Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub, the event is taking place at McNicholas High School on April 24 from 9 to 11 a.m.The event is to allow individuals to protect their identity and data. There will be onsite shredding conducted by Document Destruction. COBALT will also safely destroy individuals' electronic data with a risk-free guarantee.The event is limited to personal devices only. You can bring cellphones, laptops, tablets, desktops and computer towers. Individuals should not bring keyboards, mice, cords or accessories.It costs $20 (cash only) to shred. You can bring a maximum of five bankers boxes or average-sized trash bags. It costs $10 (cash only) to destroy electronics. You can bring a maximum of two boxes or laundry baskets.Proceeds of the event will benefit McNicholas' athletic programs and alumni association.
