Nice start to the weekend with rain on the way
JUST MOTHER NATURE, THE QUEEN CITY SHOWING OFF THIS MORNING. THE BEST THING ABOUT IT IS WE WILL STAY DRY. NOT TOO MUCH TO WORRY ABOUT IN TERMS OF THE WEEKEND FORECAST. TODAY, MID-50’S, SUNSHINE, AND AS WE MAKE OUR WAY INTO TOMORROW, THERE WILL BE A CHANCE OF A QUICK SHOWER TOMORROW AFTERNOON. I THINK MOST OF THE AREA STAYS DRY, JUST A FEW TOWNS GET HIT AND MISS LIGHT SHOWERS. DON’T CANCEL ANYTHING YOU’VE GOT THIS WEEKEND. ST. PATRICK’S DAY ACTIVITY IS GOING ON AND YOU WILL BE FINE. TOWARD MONDAY, THAT IS WHEN WE SEE THE WEATHER PATTERN CHANGE. A BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE IS BACK BEHIND THE CLOUDS NOW. CLOUDS WITH THAT. EC THE FLAG IN THE BOTTOM OF YOUR SCREEN? THE BANNER IS COVERING IT UP, BUT FIVE TO 10 MILE PER HOUR WINDS AND WE ARE SEEN 15 MILE PER HOUR WIND GUSTS. WINDS MAKING IT FEEL LIKE LOW TO MID 30’S. MAKE SURE YOU BUNDLE UP FOR ANYTHING YOU GOT GOING ON. IT WILL BE COLD SOME OF US. FURTHER TO THE NORTH, LOW 30’S WITHOUT THE WIND CHILL. ADD IN THE WIND, AND YOU ARE PROBABLY IN THE 20’S. CLEAR SKIES OVERNIGHT ALLOWS TEMPERATURES TO FALL AND CLOUDS FURTHER TO THE SOUTH ALLOWING TEMPERATURES TO HANG ONTO THAT LOW 40 MARK FOR MOST OF THE OVERNIGHT INTO THE FIRST PARTS OF THE MORNING. INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS, THE LATER MORNING HOURS, YOU WILL SEE THE TEMPERATURES WARM CLOSE TO THE 50 DEGREE MARK. THE 50’S BY THE AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES UP A LITTLE BIT ABOVE AVERAGE. CLOUDS AND RAIN STAYING TO THE SOUTH WHICH WILL PROBABLY CAUSE THE POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING ISSUES DOWN THERE AS THAT BIG LINE OF RAIN HANGS IN THE SAME AREA OVER A WIDE AREA FURTHER TO THE SOUTH. FURTHER TO THE NORTH, FOR US, CLEARER SKIES. WE WILL SEE A MIXTURE OF SUN AND CLOUDS. I THINK IT IS MOSTLY CLOUDY FOR MOST OF YOUR DAY. THE SUN WILL PEEK OUT DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE. TODAY AND TOMORROW, STAYING DRY FOR THE MOST PART. SLIGHT CHANCE OF A LIGHT SHOWER TOMORROW IN THE AFTERNOON. A FEW TOWNS WILL SEE THAT BUT THE SOAKING RAIN POTENTIALLY EVEN SOME OF THE LATEST MODELS ARE THROWING US FREEZING RAIN FOR MONDAY. THAT IS SOMETHING WE WILL KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON IF IT DOES DEVELOP. THAT CAUSES A LOT OF PROBLEMS ON THE ROADWAYS. ONCE WE GET TO THE AFTERNOON MONDAY, IT TURNS TO REALLY LOW RAIN AND SOME COULD HANG AROUND FOR TUESDAY. 59 IS THE AFTERNOON HIGH. AVERAGE HIGH IS 52, SO TO DO THREE DEGREES ABOVE THAT WITH WINDS FIVE TO 10 MILES ABOVE -- FIVE TO 10 MILES. FURTHER TO THE SOUTH, YOU WILL BE WARMER AS THE CLOUDS COULD HANG ON LONGER. 53’S ARE TEMPERATURE TOMORROW. IT WINDS NOT QUITE AS GUSTY. LET’S TIME OUT -- TIMEOUT CHANCES FOR RAIN ON FUTURECAST. THROUGHOUT THE DAY, DRY. FAST-FORWARD TO TOMORROW, NOT SEEING ANYTHING. IT IS NOT UNTIL THE AFTERNOON HOURS THAT WE SEE SLIGHT CHANCES FOR SHOWERS. NOT A LOT TO WORRY ABOUT AND IT DOES NOT STICK AROUND FOR THAT LONG. WAKING UP MONDAY MORNING, YOU COULD HAVE RAIN IN AND SOME OF IT COULD BE FREEZING RAIN. DEPENDING ON HOW TEMPERATURES ARE AT THE SURFACE, FREEZING ON CONTACT, IT’S NOT A GREAT CHANCE BUT IT IS THERE. MONDAY MORNING, EITHER A WET COMMUTE OR A SLICK COMMUTE WITH FREEZING RAIN CHANCES. WE HAVE MADE MONDAY WEATHER IMPACT A. AFTER THE RAIN MOVES OUT AND THE CHILLY START TO THE WORKWEEK, WE SEE TEMPERATURES WARM UP TO MID 60’S. TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY, STILL ON THE 60’S THURSDAY, BUT DON’T FORGET TO SET YOUR CLOCKS FORWARD ON
