Inner City Tennis Project making a difference in the lives of Cincinnati children


The Inner City Tennis Project, established in 1986, has been making a difference in the lives of thousands of children here in the Cincinnati area for nearly 4 decades. The program works to provide free and affordable tennis lessons to children, with an emphasis on increasing the participation of inner-city youth. ICTP offers a program that seeks to provide quality instruction along with a nurturing social environment, which will assist children to achieve personal goals both in the sport of tennis and in life. Inner City Tennis Project Goals: To foster in each child a sense of personal and community responsibility.To provide children with information and tools to avoid substance abuse, smoking, and violenceTo help children achieve success in schoolTo assist participants in securing academic scholarships and athletic grantsTo provide nutritional information that will help children learn to practice healthy eating habitsTo teach children the benefit of an active lifestyleTo enable children to learn and enjoy a lifetime sport, tennisTo develop tennis skills in children that will allow them to progress as far as their ability and desire permitFree Tennis Lessons & Fitness ActivitiesMonday - Friday 9:30 a.m. - Noon OR 1 - 3 p.m.Day Camps Full & Half Day (applicants accepted on a rolling basis)Full Day $70/week: 7:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.Half Day $40/week. 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. or 1 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.Location: Losantiville Triangle Tennis Courts (2549 Reading Road). Free Tennis Lessons & Fitness Activities

Monday - Friday 9:30 a.m. - Noon OR 1 - 3 p.m.

Day Camps Full & Half Day (applicants accepted on a rolling basis)

Full Day $70/week: 7:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.

Half Day $40/week. 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. or 1 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Location: Losantiville Triangle Tennis Courts (2549 Reading Road).
