Jenna Griffiths named girls lacrosse coach

MASON —The Mason girls lacrosse program will have a new head coach next year as  Jenna Griffiths has been chosen to lead the Comets pending school board approval. She replaces Jim Davis who stepped down for personal reasons.

Davis guided the Mason program for the past six seasons and finishes with a mark of 65 wins and 36 losses. This past spring he coached the Comets to their first-ever Greater Miami Conference title (shared with Sycamore). Mason was regional runner-up and Davis was named the league's Coach of the Year.

Griffiths comes to Mason after being a varsity assistant coach at Saint Ursula Academy in 2020-21.  She has been the True Ohio Girls Lacrosse head coach since 2018.  She was also a varsity assistant at Loveland from 2012-2014.
