A multi-team event during the upcoming college basketball season would feature the Kentucky Wildcats and the Ohio Bobcats, according to a report Friday via Twitter from CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.
Rothstein tweeted that the event also would feature Robert Morris and Mount St. Mary's.
Kentucky and Ohio have met eight times - with UK winning seven of those games - since 1949-50, according to sports-reference.com. The two teams last faced off at Cincinnati's Riverfront Coliseum in Dec. 2005, with UK winning 71-63.
Ohio head coach Jeff Boals was an assistant coach at Robert Morris from 2004 to 2006. He played for Bobcat teams that lost to UK at Rupp Arena in 1991 (73-63) and 1994 (79-74).
