Former Cincinnati Bengals kicker Randy Bullock was finalizing a deal Thursday night with the Detroit Lions, according to multiple reports.
The Bengals deactivated Bullock, 31, before their loss to the Dallas Cowboys in December. He was replaced by Austin Seibert, who Cincinnati had claimed in September.
Bullock was the most accurate kicker in Bengals history until he missed three of his last five field-goal attempts and an extra point in his last three games with the team. He replaced Mike Nugent late in the 2016 season.
When Bullock said he pulled a calf muscle on the 31-yard field-goal attempt he missed at the end of a Sept. 2020 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, he was criticized by Emmanuel Acho, Lawrence Tynes and James Holzhauer, among others.
