Loveland-Symmes firefighters were heroes Wednesday after saving a little puppy that got stuck in a pipe.Firefighters arrived at the scene and found two people standing over a broken sewer pipe. They heard whining and barking coming from the pipe and saw the puppy was stuck around 10 feet deep.Captain Chris Ellis used a flashlight so the other firefighters could see. The firefighters then placed a pike pole in the pipe and were able to hook the harness and lift the puppy out of the pipe.Fire crews said the puppy was not harmed in the process.
