If you need another pack of hot dogs or burger buns for your July Fourth barbecue or another ingredient, you have plenty of options Sunday.
The majority of grocery store chains will be open for the holiday, which commemorates the passage of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
Walmart, Target, Publix, Kroger and Albertsons are open as are drugstore chains, including CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens. But most pharmacies will be closed or operate with limited hours.
Trader Joe’s, which closed for the holiday in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, is opening its stores this year but will close early at 5 p.m.

Most large convenience stores, including 7-Eleven, Wawa, Pilot Flying J and Cumberland Farms, will be open, too.
All Costco Wholesale clubs are closed Sunday like they are for other holidays, including Easter, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
