Man arrested in connection to Addyston shooting


A man was arrested in connection to a shooting in Addyston on Sunday, July 4. Police arrested 29-year-old Dihierry Tucker. Detectives found out that after interviewing the victim, witnesses and processing the scene that Tucker in fact called 911 shortly after the shooting and went to the sheriff's office headquarters to be interviewed.Officers with the Addyston Police Department and the Hamilton County Sheriff's office responded to a home in the 120 block of Second Avenue just after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday for the report of a shooting.One person was found with a gunshot wound to the lower back that exited through the stomach and taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Officials say the victim does not have internal injuries at this time.Tucker could face charges of 1 count of felonious assault and 1 count of improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation.
