Earlier this week, Washington Nationals outfielder Kyle Schwarber became the first player in Major League Baseball history to hit 15 home runs in a 17-day span.
But Schwarber left Friday's game in the second inning, and Nats manager Dave Martinez told reporters that an MRI will determine whether the former Middletown High School standout will be sidelined by an injured right hamstring.
On Monday, Schwarber hit two more home runs - his 23rd and 24th of the season - in an 8-4 win against the New York Mets. Schwarber hit his 25th home run of the season on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
