It appears that fans can now mark their calendars for the upcoming Crosstown Shootout.
According to CBS Sports reporter Jon Rothstein, the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University will meet on Dec. 11 at Cintas Center.
It will be the 89th meeting in the series and the fourth appearance for Xavier head coach Travis Steele.
It will be the Crosstown Shootout debut of new UC head coach Wes Miller.
Xavier won last season's meeting at Fifth Third Arena, 77-69.

The Musketeers are expected to release their entire non-conference schedule in the coming week or two and have already started announcing dates and opponents on social media.
So far, Xavier's announced games against Niagara (Nov. 9), Kent State (Nov. 12), Ohio State (Nov. 18), Norfolk State (Nov. 21), a trip to the Barclays Center (Nov. 24, 26) for the Preseason NIT Tip-Off against Iowa State, Virginia Tech and Memphis, and the Big East-Big 12 Battle at Oklahoma State (Dec. 5).
