Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap is signing a two-year, $16.6 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks that includes $8.5 million guaranteed, according to a report Thursday night via Twitter from ESPN's Adam Schefter, who cited agent Drew Rosenhaus.
Dunlap confirmed via Twitter earlier this month that the Seahawks released him, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Dunlap spent the first 10 1/2 seasons of his National League Football career with the Bengals. In February, he talked in an interview with CBS Sports Radio's Zach Gelb about his departure from Cincinnati and shared his thoughts about the organization and quarterback Joe Burrow.
Dunlap had one sack in seven games for the Bengals last season. He had five sacks in nine games for Seattle. In November, Dunlap sealed the Seahawks' win against the Arizona Cardinals with a sack of Kyler Murray.
The Bengals traded Dunlap in October to the Seahawks for a seventh-round pick and offensive lineman B.J. Finney. Cincinnati released Finney - who played in one game for the Bengals - late last week.
