With Thursday's news that National Football League teams will be allowed to use an alternate color helmet for the 2022 season if they inform the League Office of their intent to do so by July 31 of this year, some on social media started thinking about a white helmet with stripes that many fans have wanted for some time.
Some teams are expected to pursue a throwback helmet; others, like the Cincinnati Bengals, could wear white helmets, for instance, with white uniforms.
