WEST LAFAYETTE – One week after taking an official visit to Purdue, tight end Charlie Kenrich announced he's joining coach Jeff Brohm's 2022 recruiting class.
Kenrich is the fifth commitment in the class.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Kenrich, who attends Lakota East High School, also had offers from Virginia Tech, Air Force, Akron and Ball State.
The Boilermakers added Michigan offensive lineman Cross Watson and Bryan, Texas defensive lineman a week ago to the 2022 class. A pair of Indiana products - Gibson Southern quarterback Brady Allen and Fort Wayne Snider linebacker Domanick Moon - were the first to commit.
