AFTERNOON COMING UP IN A COUPLE MINUTES COLIN. CC ALLISON, THANK YOU. LET’S GET BACK TO THAT BREAKING NEWS ABOUT THOSE MONKEYS THAT ARE ON THE LOOSE APPARENTLY POLICE AND VOLUNTEERS ARE OUT LOOKING RIGHT NOW FOR POTENTIALLY FIVE. IS THAT ESCAPED FROM A HOME WLWT NEWS 5 IS MEGAN MITCHELL LIVE AT SAINT JOE’S CEMETERY IN PRICE HILL. OBVIOUSLY MEGAN, YOU KNOW PEOPLE ARE GOING WHAT THE HECK IS THIS WHAT’S GOING ON THIS MORNING? BUT THIS IS NO JOKE. THERE IS A BIG SEARCH EFFORT RIGHT NOW. YEAH, IT WAS CRAZY KELLY WHEN I FIRST WOKE UP THIS MORNING AND SAW THAT THIS WAS MY STORY. I DIDN’T BELIEVE IT. UM, I WENT ON FACEBOOK AND SAW THE VIDEO, WHICH WE’RE WORKING TO GET FOR YOU GUYS ON AIR AS WELL. IT’S INSANE. THERE BE MONKEYS THAT ARE SWINGING THROUGH THE TREES WERE ACTUALLY HERE AT SAINT JOE’S CEMETERY RIGHT NOW WHERE THOSE MONKEYS WERE SPOTTED AND SO WE TALKED WITH NEIGHBORS AND WE SAW A POST ONLINE ABOUT THIS. IT’S REALLY FASCINATING BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE SAYING THAT THERE ARE MONKEYS ON THE LOOSE IN PRICE HILL PEOPLE ARE POSTING ABOUT THIS AND YOU KNOW POLICE SPECIFICALLY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO CAPTURE ANY OF THE MONKEYS SO FAR BUT WITNESSES BELIEVE THAT THERE’S ABOUT FIVE OF THEM. SOME ARE CLAIMING THAT THERE IS TALL AS FIVE FEET, BUT THEY’RE DIFFERENT BREEDS DIFFERENT SIZES A ONE WOMAN. WE SPOKE WITH WENT OUT TO GET HER CATS MAKE SURE HER CAT WAS SAFE AND SHE ENDED UP TAKING PICTURES. HERE’S WHAT SHE HAD TO SAY. THREE OF THEM ARE IN THE CEMETERY FOR SURE SWIMMING IN THROUGH THE TREES ABATE AN OFFICERS. THE OFFICERS HAVE SEEN THEM. THEY JUST CAN’T CATCH THEM BECAUSE THEY’RE SWINGING THROUGH THE TREES. THAT’S WHY THEY CALLED THAT GUY IN TO TRANQUILIZE THEM. THAT WAY THEY DON’T. HAVE TO GET HARMED. YEAH. SORRY, YOU SCARED. IF THEY WERE STANDING HERE, I’D BE SCARED BUT NOT RIGHT NOW. I THINK THEY’LL CATCH THEM. ALL RIGHT. SO ONE OF THE OFFICERS AND ONE OF THE YOU KNOW EXPERTS THAT WAS COMING WITH THE OFFICER TO TRY AND TRANQUILIZE THESE MONKEYS SAID THAT THEY REALLY DON’T COME OUT A LOT DURING THE NIGHT TIME. SO WE AREN’T EXPECTING TO SEE ANY. WELL, IT’S DARK OUT BUT MAYBE WHEN IT’S BRIGHTER WHEN THAT SUN COMES OUT, WE ASSUME THAT THE SEARCH IS GOING TO RESUME FOR THE MONKEYS KELLY. MEGAN OBVIOUSLY CALLED I’LL LET YOU GO AHEAD. YEAH. YEAH, YOU KNOW YOUR MIND WANDERS THIS TYPE OF STORY MEGAN DONE A GREAT. FOR US HAVE THEY BEEN ABLE TO TRACK THESE MONKEYS DOWN EVEN GET THEM, YOU KNOW CORDONED OFF IN ANY AREA THERE. YEAH, WELL, IT’S INTERESTING. BECAUSE LEE SAID THAT SHE SAW THEM WHEN ONE OF THEM WAS NEAR HER TRASH CAN SHE SAYS IT WAS JUST KIND OF STANDING THERE. IT WAS TALLER THAN THE TRASH CAN SO, YOU KNOW, SHE SAID IT WAS ABOUT FIVE FEET AND SHE SAYS LONG LONG ARMS REALLY THIN ARMS, AND SHE JUST SAID SHE WAS STARING AT IT IT STARING BACK AT HER. IT DIDN’T REALLY COME TOWARDS HER OR ANYTHING BUT LOTS OF DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS AND LIKE I SAID WHEN POLICE WERE TRYING TO KIND OF CAPTURE THE MONKEYS, THEY JUST KIND OF KEPT SWINGING THROUGH THE TREES INNOVATING THEM. SO RIGHT NOW, NO MONKEYS IN. IN POLICE, YOU KNOW NOT CUSTODY POLICE DON’T HAVE THE MONKEYS RIGHT NOW. YEAH, WE KNOW IT THIS IS IT CERTAINLY NOT A TRUE STORY? YEAH, SO I’M NOT SOMETHING WE REPORT ON EVERY DAY. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO LOCATE
