The Ohio House voted to remove one of its own on Tuesday for the first time in more than 100 years.
The 99-member House voted 75-21 to expel Rep. Larry Householder, R-Glenford, from office. Householder was indicted last year on federal racketeering charges and faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
Among Democrats, 33 voted yes, one voted no and one didn't vote. Among Republicans, 42 voted yes, 20 voted no and two didn't vote.
