Kings Island says park security and local law enforcement responded to "unruly juvenile behavior" on Saturday night.
The incident occurred at the public drop-off area on Kings Island Drive around 8:10 p.m., according to a statement released by the park Sunday night.
Park officials said Kings Island is cooperating with the ongoing investigation that is being carried out by the Mason Police Department.
It is currently unknown whether any arrests were made as a result of the incident. The Enquirer has reached out to Mason police for comment.
This is the second time in less than a month that police have responded to unruly behavior involving juveniles at the park.
On May 22, Kings Island was forced to close 30 minutes early due to several fights inside the park and out in the parking lot, with five juveniles charged in connection to that incident.
In the wake of the fights that broke out last month, new security measures are being implemented at the park, including increased police presence.
Due to a worker shortage, Kings Island's early closing time has been extended to June 19. The park is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday and Soak City Water Park is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. all week.
The Enquirer will update this story as more information becomes available.
