Dozens of volunteers swept the banks of the Ohio River in Covington today, to do something for the environment.Today was the Covington leg of River Sweep 2021, and volunteers spent hours cleaning up trash along the river.It's a dirty and sometimes strange job. Volunteers have found shopping carts, televisions and even an entire freezer on the banks of the river.This annual effort goes beyond the shores in our area.
