Southbound Interstate 75 is expected to be closed for several hours at Paddock because of a fatal crash Thursday morning.
At approximately 5:30 a.m., police responded to an overturned tractor-trailer on I-75 near the exit to the Norwood Lateral. The Hamilton County Coroner's Office said the driver of the vehicle was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and died shortly after.
Police said the closure is expected to last until this afternoon until the vehicle and cargo can be removed from the highway. The cargo is non-hazardous, police said.
Detours are being made at Ronald Regan Highway and the Norwood Lateral, according to the Cincinnati Police Traffic Unit.
