A 38-year-old man is dead in a hit-and-run motorcycle crash along Interstate 275 in Anderson Township.It happened just before 10 p.m. Monday in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near Five Mile Road. According to investigators, 38-year-old Jason Sargent, of Milford, was driving his motorcycle in the right lane. Police say a man driving a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta was right behind him.The Volkswagen slammed into the motorcycle, investigators say, throwing Sargent from his motorcycle. Sargent was pronounced dead. The driver of the 2006 Volkswagen Jetta fled on foot from the crash scene.
