University of Kentucky Wildcats head coach John Calipari reacted Thursday night via Twitter to news that Terrence Clarke, a former UK basketball player and 2021 NBA Draft prospect, died earlier in a car accident in Los Angeles at age 19.

Clarke averaged 9.6 points per game in the eight games in which he appeared in his only season for the Wildcats. He announced last month that he was declaring for the draft and forgoing remaining eligibility.
