Chris LePore and Andre Morgan, who worked together under Wes Miller at UNC Greensboro for two seasons in 2017 and 2018, will be among the new Cincinnati Bearcats head coach's assistant coaches at UC, which announced Morgan as an assistant on Monday.
Morgan has been an assistant coach at Middle Tennessee State for the past three seasons since leaving UNCG.
"We are thrilled to add Andre to our staff here at Cincinnati," Miller said, per gobearcats.com. "Andre is a rising star in this business. He's an outstanding coach, connector and recruiter. He's a high-character addition to our staff and deeply values the development of our players. We welcome Andre to the Bearcats family along with his wife Lynn and their two daughters Amaya and Makenzie."
In addition, Miller has hired Mike Roberts - Indiana's assistant AD for basketball administration after two seasons on IU's coaching staff - as an assistant coach, according to multiple reports Monday. Roberts spent eight seasons as associate head coach at UNC Greensboro with Miller.
LePore started as a grad assistant at UNCG in May 2014. He became the Spartans' director of basketball operations in Sept. 2016, and was promoted to assistant coach in July 2017.
From LePore late last week:
UNCG made two NCAA Tournament appearances and two NIT appearances in the five seasons since LePore became director of basketball ops.
UC parted ways with John Brannen - the Bearcats' head coach the past two seasons - earlier this month, hiring Miller to replace him. Miller agreed to a six-year, $7.875 million deal to be UC's head coach.
Last week, John Newman III - a guard who played his first three seasons for the Clemson Tigers and said late last month that he planned to return to his hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina, to play for the Spartans - tweeted that he'd instead follow Miller to Cincinnati to play for the Bearcats as a senior.
