Weekend-long celebrations, 25 new businesses and restaurants opening at New Port on the Levee

MIANNA. YEAH, GOOD MORNING. KELLY AND COLIN AND SO IT’S A WEEKEND LONG CELEBRATION CELEBRATING THE OPENING OF SEVERAL NEW BUSINESSES RIGHT HERE AT NEWPORT ON THE LEVEE. THEY SAY THEIR NEW DEBUTING A NEW LOOK AND FEEL RIGHT AHEAD OF SUMMER. SO THIS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND THE COMMUNITY IS INVITED TO EXPLORE THE NEW GATHERING SPACES AND EXPERIENCE SEVERAL FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENTS, INCLUDING A PUBLIC RIBBON CUTTING EXERCISE CLASSES LIVE MUSIC AND ARTS NOW 25 NEW RESTAURANTS AND RETAIL SPACES ARE OPENING AT THE ME BOTH OUTDOORS ON THE PLAZA AND IN THE NEWLY REMODELED 380,000 SQUARE FOOT GALLERY BUILDING NOW THIS MORNING. WE ARE GIVING YOU A SNEAK PEEK OF IT ALL NOW. THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN IN THE MAKING FOR YEARS. THE HOPE IS TO BRING PEOPLE BACK TO THE LEVY. WE’VE HAD A LOT OF PURPOSEFUL KIND OF, YOU KNOW REACTIVATIONS AND CHANGING OF THE SPACE ON THE PROPERTY AND WE HAVE A LOT OF NEW RETAILERS AND RESTAURANTS AND YOU KNOW, REALLY JUST COMPANIES HERE AT THE LEVY THAT WE WANT TO SHOWCASE SEEING THE CHANGES THAT ARE BEING MADE ALREADY.
