May 26 is World Redhead Day.If you're sporting natural red hair, you're part of a unique group.Only 2% (or about 140 million people) of the world's population has natural red hair.Sisters Adrienne and Stephanie Vendetti, who run the website, How To Be a Redhead, started another celebratory day for redheads: National Love Your Red Hair Day, which is celebrated in November.The sisters created the day after noticing there was a "Kick a Ginger Day," the sisters wrote."We wanted to create a nationally recognized day of the year that empowered redheads to LOVE their hair. But, most of all, it's a reminder for women everywhere, redhead or not, to love their unique qualities," Stephanie wrote.The first "Love Your Red Hair Day" was celebrated in 2015.
