Kentucky officers surprise neighborhood kids with basketball goal

Thanks to Georgetown police officers, kids in one neighborhood will get to shoot some hoops this summer.While officers were out on a call over the weekend, they noticed some kids playing outside, according to a Facebook post. Officer Slone and Officer Evans took it upon themselves to get the kids a basketball and a basketball goal.Rural King sold the items to the officers at a discount. Afterward, other officers helped bring them to the goal to help the kids.Police said the kids showed off their basketball skills afterward.
