FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – FC Cincinnati used its typical 4-3-3 formation and variations of it through four matches and had just one point from a possible 12 to show for its efforts over that span.
On Saturday, tactical changes and an unexpected personnel move provided FCC with a different on-field look against CF Montreal. Those factors ultimately spurred the club to the strong finish it needed in a 2-1 comeback win at DRV PNK Stadium on Saturday.

Cincinnati head coach Jaap Stam made just one change to his starting 11 by re-introducing defensive midfielder Caleb Stanko as a center back.
The start was Stanko's first since Sept. 12 and his seventh since Stam took over FC Cincinnati.
