The Skinny: The Reds gave starting pitcher Wade Miley two extra days between starts after he pitched a no-hitter against Cleveland last weekend. Reds lefty Johnny Vander Meer in 1938 was the last MLB pitcher to throw no-hitters in back-to-back starts.
Miley is 4-1 with a 4.19 ERA in six career starts at Coors Field. Rockies right-handed starter German Marquez has allowed a league-high 24 earned runs this season.
