7:35 p.m. ET update: It's expected to be a short delay. First pitch is scheduled for 8:20 p.m., so just a 10-minute delay from the original start time.
Original story:
DENVER – About 50 minutes before Saturday's scheduled first pitch at Coors Field, the Cincinnati Reds and Colorado Rockies entered a weather delay.
There was no tarp over the infield when the delay was announced, but there was potential for rain in the forecast. The Coors Field grounds crew continued to work on the infield as the delay was announced.
The Reds lost the first two games of their weekend four-game series against the Rockies. It's their only trip to Colorado this season.
