Jordan Hicks, a former Lakota West High School standout who has spent the past two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, was given permission by the team to find a new home via trade, according to a report Wednesday via Twitter from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Hicks signed a four-year deal worth $36 million with the Cardinals in 2019 after playing his first four NFL seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Hicks and fellow Lakota West alumnus Ryan Kelly of the Indianapolis Colts have hosted a camp for high school players at the school.
Hicks was selected 84th overall (20th in the third round) in 2015 from the University of Texas.
Hicks is one of 17 NFL players - not including recent draftees - from Greater Cincinnati high schools.
