Two-time Winter Olympic medalist Nick Goepper won a gold medal Sunday in the men's Ski Slopestyle event at X Games Aspen 2021.
Goepper, 26, won a silver medal in Slopestyle in 2018 as Greater Cincinnati's only PyeongChang Winter Olympian.
He hadn't won at the X Games since 2015.
Goepper started his skiing career at age 5 at Perfect North while he lived in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Goepper threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Cincinnati Reds' Opening Day in 2018. He also threw out the first pitch on Opening Night at GABP in 2014 after winning a bronze medal at the Sochi Olympics earlier that year.
