CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil says they are taking the temperature of every jail inmate entering and leaving, and, right now, no one has symptoms of COVID-19.
The jail population has also been reduced from 1,500 to 943.
Neil also talked about how his deputies are enforcing the stay at home order.
"We are going to be practicing and utilizing the least restrictive intervention. It's good, old-fashion law enforcement where you are maintaining the peace, dispersing the crowds and educating the people," Neil said.
The sheriff's office and Cincinnati Police Department have both said they'll be on the lookout for large gatherings of people and businesses still open.
