CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The flu is already closing some schools in our area: the elementary school at Summit Academy Cincinnati is closed Friday due to illness.
But free flu shots are now available if you haven't gotten a vaccination yet this season.
UC Health announced Thursday morning that, with the spike in flu cases, they are partnering with the Cincinnati Health Department to make this vaccine available throughout the rest of January. It's suggested for anyone 6 months or older.
