WEST END, Ohio (WKRC) - The site of FC Cincinnati's new Major League Soccer stadium in the West End is about to start looking a lot more like a sports venue.
Steel beams are now rising from the ground at the project. The first delivery came in last week from Alabama.
More than 500 truckloads will be delivered over the next few months. The steel columns range from 7,000 to 13,000 pounds and average 36 feet in length.
The $250-million, privately funded stadium is on track to open in March 2021.
