CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A group that tries to place teachers in low-income schools is being opposed by Cincinnati's teacher union.
"Teach for America" targets recent college graduates, but it does not require them to have any training in education.
The union also does not support Ben Lindy in his run for Cincinnati School Board. Lindy is on leave from his job as the executive director of Teach for America in Southwest Ohio.
