HODGENVILLE, Ky. (WKRC) - A new Army service uniform will be rolled out over the next five years, and it's design and manufacturing are being sourced in the Tri-State.
The new uniforms will pay homage to the World War II era.
Nationwide Uniform estimates it will make two pairs of trousers for each of the 150,000 service members.
Every fiber and piece of fabric will be made in America and the plant that will sew the uniforms is in Hodgenville, Kentucky.
The designers are based in Cincinnati.
Some of the army's top brass wore the new uniforms in Normandy back in June to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day,
