Cincinnati's Duke Ragan defeated Luis Lebrón in a unanimous decision in their featherweight bout Saturday at New York City's Madison Square Garden on ESPN+ to remain undefeated as a professional at 8-0.
Ragan, a Western Hills High School graduate who won a silver medal for Team USA at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in Aug. 2021, won by scores of 77-75, 78-74 and 79-73. It was part of the undercard of the Vasiliy Lomachenko-Jamaine Ortiz lightweight match and Top Rank Boxing main event.
Lebrón dropped to 18-5-1 with the loss.
In August, Ragan won a unanimous decision against D'Angelo Fuentes to improve to 7-0.
Last September, Ragan's cousin, top featherweight prospect Jayvon Garnett, talked to The Enquirer about Ragan's Olympic success.
