Bengals, Bills face off for MNF game with major playoff implications

CINCINNATI — Both the Bengals and Bills have already secured playoff spots, but that doesn't mean tonight's Monday Night Football game at Paycor Stadium doesn't have playoff implications.

The Bengals are coming off a seven-game win streak and are hoping to add game number eight tonight. The Buffalo Bills are 12-3, just slightly better than the Bengals at 11-4.

Kansas City is currently the top seed in the AFC after a win over the Broncos, but would fall back down to the two-seed if the Bills beat the Bengals. If the Bills win Monday and in Week 18, they'll clinch the top seed. Cincinnati, meanwhile, needs to win out for a chance at the conference's only bye. They'd also need the Chiefs to lose in Week 18.

The Bengals also need to clinch the AFC North. Cincinnati clinches the division with a win Monday. If the Bengals lose, they'll have to beat the Ravens next Sunday.

Fans at the game can expect some fun at halftime. Bootsy Collins along with the Zapp band will be performing "Fear Da Tiger."
