Soccer fans in attendance at TQL Stadium Tuesday night and those watching the television broadcast of the U.S. Women's National Team's 8-0 win against Paraguay expressed concern after Paraguay's Daysy Bareiro was injured in the 84th minute, shortly before the friendly concluded.
Medical officials attended to Bareiro, 20, for several minutes before she was carted off the field on a stretcher, with her neck stabilized.
