In a vote that ended Jan. 15, Cincinnati.com readers selected winners for the Cincinnati Enquirer Athlete of the Week, presented by Mercy Health, for the Jan. 4-10 voting period.
Winners will receive a certificate, sent through the school's athletic department, after the end of the season.

This week's winners are:
Ohio winter team, boys: Loveland bowling – Loveland won two league matches, beating Anderson 2,489-1,810 and Lebanon 2,624-2,589.
Ohio winter team, girls: Seton bowling – Seton edged Colerain Jan. 5 by two pins, 2,448-2,446.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys team: St. Henry boys basketball - The Crusaders started 2-1, including an overtime loss to Lexington Catholic, ranked fourth in the state, and a thrilling 82-80 win over ninth-ranked Highlands. St. Henry is ranked 10th in the state.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls team:·Scott girls basketball (Jan. 15) - The Eagles, who were 3-25 last year, started 2-0, including a 74-45 win over rival Simon Kenton.
Ohio boys basketball player, big school: Andrew Harp, Elder – The junior forward had a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double in Elder’s 67-60 win over St. Xavier Jan. 8.
Ohio boys basketball player, small school: Nick Schulte, McNicholas – He scored 18 points, adding 3 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal and a block, on the 50-48 loss to Taft Jan. 9
Ohio girls basketball player, big school: Cecelia Hilgefort, Turpin - The sophomore on Jan. 6 scored 28 points in a 61-56 win over West Clermont and on Jan. 9 scored 29 in a 61-53 win at Winton Woods. She also had a total of 17 rebounds for the two games.
Ohio girls basketball player, small school: Grace Barnes, Cincinnati Country Day – She was 7-of-8 from the field (including 4-of-5 from 3-point range) in CCD’s 64-39 win over Little Miami Jan. 6.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys basketball player: Billy Wogenstahl, Dixie Heights – He had 24 points and 8 rebounds in the 81-64 win over Ryle Jan. 8 and had a team-high 16 in the loss to Covington Catholic Jan 4.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls basketball player: Lauren Hawthorne, Conner – The junior had an impressive week averaging 15 points and 13 rebounds in wins over Holmes and district rival Cooper High School. This included a 21-point, 17-rebound performance in her varsity debut.
Boys bowler: Joey Kapszukiewicz, Loveland – The senior had a team-high 443 series in the win over Anderson Jan. 4. He also led the team with a 419 series (236, 183) in the win over Lebanon.
Girls bowler: Olyvia Bittner, Mercy McAuley - The senior bowled a 392 series (213, 179) in the win over Hamilton on Jan. 5.
Gymnast: Abby Pitts, Anderson – She won the All-Around at the Country Day Cup Jan. 9, earning 35.5 points, after winning the vault with an 8.7 and the bars with an 8.85. She took second in the beam and fifth on the floor.
Ice hockey: Tanner Kathman, Northern Kentucky Norse – The senior from Ignite Academy had 4 assists on Saturday night to help the Norse to an 11-2 victory over Louisville Metro in a Kentucky High School Hockey League game.
Boys swimmer/diver: Max Brunner, Elder – The sophomore won the 200 freestyle at the Jan. 9-10 Princeton Invitational with a time of 1:51.18, leading the Panthers to a second-place team finish.
Girls swimmer/diver: Ava Stratmann, Seton - The sophomore helped lead her team to victory this past weekend at the Princeton Invitational, where Seton placed first over 13 other teams. She had three Top 8 finishes and dropped a combined 11 seconds in her events. Ava swam her fastest yet and contributed the most points in a meet for Seton so far in her career.
Wrestling: Tristen Davis, Cincinnati Country Day – The sophomore was 3-0 on the night Jan. 10 against Milford.
