An 80-year-old woman is dead after a two-car crash in Versailles, Indiana Tuesday.It happened around 1:30 p.m. on US 421 in southern Ripley County.An initial investigation found a driver, later identified as Mary Hunt, 80, was traveling south when she crossed the center line into the path of another car.The driver traveling north tried to avoid Hunt's car but the two collided head on, going off the roadway. Hunt was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Ripley County Coroner's Office. The other driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene and was released.Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the collision. The investigation is ongoing, Indiana State Police said.
