Kings Island's luxury resort and campsite, Camp Cedar, has delayed its opening again.
The $27 million resort was slated to open on June 14 and had even begun booking reservations. The opening date was then pushed back to June 24.
Kings Island officials did not share a new opening date, but cited continued construction delays.
"We were disappointed to learn this, but agree with the owners that there are outstanding issues which need to be addressed before the campground can deliver a high quality experience for its guests," Kings Island officials said in a press release. "As the property manager, Kings Island is not responsible for the construction or completion of Camp Cedar."
Camp Cedar officials said a combination of unfavorable weather and labor and material shortages have caused the delay.
Anyone with reservations may contact the campground's guest services team for a full refund, according to the press release. Anyone with questions about their reservation can contact Camp Cedar by emailing info@visitcampcedar.com.
