FC Cincinnati defender Ronald Matarrita is being assessed for injury and did not travel to join the Costa Rica men's national team, an FCC team spokesperson said.
Matarrita was supposed to travel with teammate Allan Cruz on Sunday to play with Costa Rica in the Concacaf Nations League Finals and a friendly against the United States. Only Cruz made the trip.
