CINCINNATI — The University of Cincinnati game against Texas Southern scheduled for Saturday has been canceled.

University officials said the cancellation is due to an outbreak of COVID in the Texas Southern program.

The Bearcats were able to schedule a last-minute replacement game. They will now face off against Ashland University. That game will tip-off at 1 p.m. at Fifth Third Arena.

Tickets for the original opponent will be honored.
