											DREAMS. WITH THE MEGA MILLIONS JACKPOT AT 560 MILLION AND POWERBALL AT 875 MILLION, THERE’S A LOT OF HYPE OVER THE COMBINED $1.435 MILLION UP FOR GRABS THIS WEEKEND. NOW, IF NO ONE MATCHES ALL SIX NUMBERS, FRIDAY’S JACKPOT COULD BE MORE THAN $560 MILLION. WITH NO MEGA MILLIONS WINNER TUESDAY. THIS IS POWERBALL AND NO POWERBALL WINNER WEDNESDAY. ALL RIGHT. WHAT’S THE BIG ONE? PLAYING HYPE IS GROWING AS FAST AND AS BIG AS BOTH JACKPOTS. ARE YOU A POWERBALL GUY OR A MEGA? MILLIONS OR BOTH? BOTH. I BUY BOTH. DO YOU PLAY EVERY WEEK OR IS IT JUST BECAUSE THE JACKPOT IS SO BIG? I PLAY WHEN I THINK OF IT ARE PEOPLE REMIND ME COST ME $4. YOU KNOW, WE ALL KNOW THAT WE HAVE A VERY SMALL CHANCE OF WINNING. AND I THINK THE LURE OF IT’S JUST THAT WHEN YOU GET INTO THE BILLIONS, PEOPLE THINK IT’S SOMEHOW THERE’S A BETTER CHANCE, THERE’S PROBABLY A WORSE CHANCE. BUT PEOPLE GET EXCITED ABOUT IT, CHANGE THEIR LIVES, THOSE TYPES OF THINGS. THE CASH OPTION WOULD BE $281 MILLION FOR MEGA MILLIONS AND NEARLY 442 MILLION FOR POWERBALL. WHAT I DID WITH THE MONEY WILL STOP BY QUITTING MY JOB AND TAKE CARE OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY. WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU DO WITH IT? I FEEL GOOD. YOU KNOW, THE OPPORTUNITY IS THERE IF YOU DON’T PLAY, THEY WON’T PAY. SO IT’S WORTHWHILE TO BUY A COUPLE TICKETS. THE MEGA MILLIONS DRAWING IS TONIGHT. THE POWERBALL DRAWING IS TOMO

<p>If you've been to any sporting event lately, E-ticketing is the norm, and now that change affects parents at the high school level.</p>
<p>"HomeTown is the largest digital ticketing provider for K-12 and colleges across the country," HomeTown Vice President of Marketing Connor Thinnes says. "We're at over 3,500 high schools across the country now."</p>
<p>HomeTown Ticketing is one of several in the marketplace. Thinnes says it helps athletic directors and their staff, and some volunteers.</p>
<p>"They're thrilled with how efficient it makes all of the logistical aspects of running their events," Thinnes says. "It frees up their folks to do more of their specific jobs, as opposed to all the sort of extra things that they have to do with respect to counting cash (and) accounting for open cash boxes."</p>
<p>Prep sports have become a bigger business.</p>
<figure class="Figure" itemscope="" itemtype="https://schema.org/ImageObject">
<div class="Figure-container">
<p>TMJ4</p>
</div><figcaption class="Figure-caption" itemprop="caption">If you've been to any sporting event lately, E-ticketing is the norm, and now that change affects parents at the high school level.</figcaption></figure>
<p>"It's such a large market across the country," Thinnes says. "I think it's hard sometimes for people to fully wrap their heads around just how many high schools there are that are playing football every Friday night, or participating in March Madness when it comes to playoff basketball."</p>
<p>And yes, cash can still be accepted at most venues, plus accommodations for those that want the memento ticket stub.</p>
<p>What about old-school fans who want to save the ticket stub?</p>
<p>"Well conveniently on our system, if you purchase a ticket, you're also getting an email with a PDF that sends you that ticket," Thinnes says. "We certainly have people that still print that ticket out and present that at the gate. It's absolutely scannable and works every time."</p>
<p>Parents getting into frenzy football games on Friday night or other sports will need to be aware of technology changing the process at high schools.</p>

					Registered nurse Beth Day is known for her tireless work and commitment to helping others.Taking on long hours and extended shifts amid the worst months of the pandemic, she loves what she does, never expecting to be thanked, in such a big way."I'm very grateful to be able to do this, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity for most people," Day said.Day and three other TriHealth nurses are headed to the 2021 Super Bowl. They're just four of nearly 7,500 vaccinated front-line health care workers that'll attend the big game with free tickets and game day experiences directly from the NFL."I've been to a couple of Bengals games but nothing that was of any significance like the Super Bowl," Day said.Nurse Manager Stephanie Long helped select Day for this major opportunity. She'll be representing TriHealth's Good Sam hospital at Evendale."I've worked with Beth for 10 years, she always has a positive attitude, always willing to do anything you need her to do," Long said. "With all the COVID chaos she was willing to go anywhere that was needed."Soon she'll be off to Tampa, rooting on her team of choice."The Chiefs, all the way!" Day said.Knowing her efforts to keep people safe played a small part in making a game like this one, even possible.

<p>CINCINNATI — A limited number of Cincinnati Reds single-game tickets for the upcoming season will go on sale <a class="Link" href="https://www.mlb.com/reds">online</a> March 17 at 9 a.m.</p>
<p>Ticket windows open at Great American Ball Park the next day 9 a.m. The sale excludes tickets for Opening Day.</p>
<p>This season, all tickets will be issued digitally via the MLB Ballpark app for contactless entry, including tickets purchased at ball park windows.</p>
<p>Pre-sale opportunities begin March 15, when season ticket members can buy single-game admission online. On March 16, paid vouchers from 2020 or account credit single game go on sale online.</p>
<p>Like many aspects of life amid the coronavirus pandemic, this year's ball park experience will look a little different. Masks will be mandatory for all fans, and masks should properly cover the nose and mouth unless you're eating or drinking in a seat.</p>
<p>Fans will be seated in socially distanced pods for up to six per group to keep fans 6 feet apart while watching the game. All concessions and merchandise stands will go contactless and cashless. The ball park also has a new policy prohibiting backpacks.</p>
<p>Find information about tickets, the Reds' <a class="Link" href="https://www.mlb.com/reds/schedule/2021-04">schedule</a> and more here.</p>
<p>The MLB opens the season on April 1, when the Reds host the St. Louis Cardinals at 4:10 p.m., and the league expects to play 162 games in the 2021 season. </p>
<p>Meanwhile, the Reds Opening Day Parade has been postponed until Great American Ball Park can safely accommodate fans at full capacity, according to parade organizer Findlay Market Association. Last month, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced that sports stadiums will be allowed to fill seats to 30% capacity.</p>
<p>In 2020, the pandemic shut down spring training in March and delayed Opening Day until July. Teams played a 60-game schedule with an expanded postseason, and games were played without fans in stands.</p>

					The Kentucky Lottery is doing its part to get COVID-19 shots into the arms of residents.Lottery officials announced this week a new program in partnership with Kroger and Walmart, which aims to vaccinate residents 18 and older.According to the program, the lottery is making coupons available for 225,000 free Kentucky Cash Ball tickets beginning Monday. Cash Ball is a nightly draw game that has a top prize of $225,000. Here's how the effort will work:This promotion is in effect at all Kentucky Kroger locations that have either a pharmacy or Little Clinic and at all Kentucky Walmart locations that sell lottery tickets. When a person goes to one of these locations to get their COVID-19 vaccine, they’ll get a coupon for a free Cash Ball 225 Lottery ticket while supplies last. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. The offer is good through next Friday (May 21), or until the 225,000 tickets run out. Coupons can be redeemed at any Kentucky Lottery retailer between now and June 1."We hope that by literally injecting a little fun into the process, more people will get vaccinated," said Kentucky Lottery President and CEO Mary Harville. "This is good for Kentucky’s businesses, it’s good for the Kentucky Lottery, and it’s good for Kentucky college students counting on us through the scholarship and grant programs funded by our proceeds."Kentuckians who get either a first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine are eligible. There are more than 170 Kroger/Walmart participating locations across Kentucky.
