Maybe you've heard the buzz. Taco Bell added crispy chicken wings to their menu on Thursday. The wings, which come five to an order for $5.99, are coated in a Mexican queso seasoning and served alongside a zesty ranch dipping sauce. Here's the thing though — this sought-after menu addition will not be available for long. It's a limited-time offer and the wings will be gone on Jan. 12. So are they worth the rush to Taco Bell? Marvis Herring from our sister station WLKY did his own little taste test so you don't have to. Watch in the player above. Our partners at Delish contributed to this story.

Taco Bell is making it easier for fans to get tacos whenever they want with an all-new subscription service. Starting nationwide on Thursday, the Taco Lover's Pass will be available exclusively on the Taco Bell app. This new program allows fans to redeem one of seven tacos every day for 30 consecutive days at participating U.S. Taco Bell locations. The best part? You can get this all for just $10, so be sure to clear up some space on your smartphone and download the app as soon as possible.Options include seven of Taco Bell's most iconic tacos, so you have your choice between the Crunchy Taco, Crunchy Taco Supreme, Soft Taco, Soft Taco Supreme, Spicy Potato Soft Taco, Doritos Locos Tacos, and Doritos Locos Tacos Supreme. You can purchase the Taco Lover's Pass through the app, and once the purchase goes through, you'll have access to a secret category in your app's menu so you can redeem your tacos in-restaurant.The nationwide launch of the Taco Lover's Pass comes after a successful test of the program in September 2021 in a Tucson, Arizona, test market. If your New Year's resolution includes eating more tacos, today's your lucky day. Plus, with seven different taco varieties to choose from you can be sure you never get tired of the same item for those consecutive 30 days. Maybe you'll even find a new favorite along the way.

<p>Taco Bell is returning a fan-favorite item to its menu: potatoes.</p>
<p>In a press release, the fast-food chain <a class="Link" href="https://www.tacobell.com/news/potatoes-are-returning-taco-bell-vegetarian-plans" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> that former potato items Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes and the Spicy Potato Soft Taco would be back on their menus beginning March 11.</p>
<p>On Thursday, Taco Bell CEO Mark King explained why they removed the items in the first place because they had to simplify their menu due to the coronavirus pandemic.</p>
<p>King also announced that Taco Bell is also going "big" on their vegetarian menu by "going above....and beyond" by pairing up with Beyond Meat to "create an innovative new plant-based protein."</p>
<p>"Taco Bell chose to team up with Beyond Meat as a category leader with a proven track record of attracting younger customers with its irresistibly delicious plant-based offerings," the company said in a statement. "Although Taco Bell has long been a destination for vegetarians, this will be the brand’s first foray into plant-based meat in the U.S."</p>
<p>Taco Bell said the new plant-based protein would be tested within the next year.</p>
<p>“The return of our beloved potatoes is just the first step in showing our fans the strong continued commitment to vegetarian we are making this year,” said Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s Global Chief Food Innovation Officer, in a statement. “We have long been a leader in the vegetarian space, but this year, we have more meatless options in store that vegetarians, veggie-curious, and even meat-eaters will love.”</p>
<p>The Spicy Potato Soft Taco will be sold for $1 and the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes for $1.49 when they return on March 11.</p>

<p>EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Plant-based food company Beyond Meat will be partnering with several fast-food chains in the coming years to expand to products that could eventually include a plant-based burger, chalupa or toppings on a stuffed-crust pizza. </p>
<p>Beyond Meat on Thursday announced distribution agreements with McDonald’s as well as Yum Brands, the parent company of KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. </p>
<p>The California-based food company says will develop plant-based products for all the restaurants, with exclusive menu items for each brand.</p>
<p>Last year, KFC previewed Beyond Fried Chicken products at a few locations. In late 2019, McDonald's carried the Beyond Burger at a few locations in Ontario, Canada.</p>
<p>Last summer, <a class="Link" href="https://asnn.prod.ewscripps.psdops.com/news/national/starbucks-adds-plant-based-breakfast-sandwich-featuring-impossible-foods-patty">Starbucks started </a>offering plant-based meat products from Beyond Meat's competitor, Impossible Foods. </p>
