Warm to start the work week

Skies stay clear but we won't be as cool tonight. We start the week on a warm and sunny note.



Sunshine as we go into tomorrow the next couple of days, this is a live look in Lebanon right now we've got clear skies out that way and we're going to continue to stay clear as we go through tonight, you might see a few passing high clouds as we go through the overnight hours. But that's about it right now, temperatures at 61 in Cincinnati Harrison, you are 57 Hillsborough, 62 wall in Kentucky at 59 and then up around mason, Hamilton and spring bro, we have the low sixties to high fifties so some varying temperatures. But we're all on our way to the fifties as we go through tonight. It's been a clean sweep for radar this evening. We have had those high thin clouds streaming through today but those have since cleared out at least for the most part we're going to be under the influence of high pressure here as we go through the next several days here, it's really going to be the dominating feature in our weather pattern here this week. We're not gonna see a whole lot of variation but those south winds over the next couple of days pulling in some of that warmer air to the greater Cincinnati area. So again, you might see some high clouds as we go through the next 24 hours. That's all future cast is really picking up on here. But sunshine is going to be the story here as we go through the first part of the week. So looking ahead to plenty of that I think monday night into Tuesday we could see a very brief, just a blip of a change in the weather pattern over the next seven days, we're going to focus on that here coming up. But forecast through tonight 58 degrees clear skies, not as chilly as we go through the overnight hours. So we're not going to feel as widespread of forties as we head into tomorrow morning and then for tomorrow afternoon sunshine, I think it's gonna be breezy tomorrow. We're gonna be looking at a windy day southwest winds at 5 to 15, but that's gonna be pulling in that warmer air. So we will be treated to more summer like temperatures as we go through the first couple of days in the new week. But again, I did mention that little blip in the forecast, that little change their monday night into Tuesday. So looking ahead, what's gonna happen here, we're gonna have a very small but brief wave of energy push over the greater Cincinnati era and I think it's going to have just enough to produce one or two showers as we go overnight monday into Tuesday, it looks like it's going to be more north into central Ohio. But I think there is a chance that some of that could clip the area, several models indicating that was looking like that, that's been the trend the last couple of days. But again, if we were to see anything that would be gone before the morning drive on Tuesday. So we're not looking at anything to impact your travel plans and especially into the afternoon on Tuesday things looking really dry there. So monday, dry Tuesday during the daytime dry could see a little spotty shower to monday night and Tuesday. But that's gonna be it for the next seven days here. We've got gorgeous weather, Wednesday, thursday, friday saturday and sunday I think just some scattered clouds there as we head towards the last part of the week, we're gonna be looking at temperatures to be pretty average, especially into friday afternoon through the weekend molly. All right.

The heat and humidity will become more of a problem over the next couple of days. Not much relief is in sight for the long term.



And cool down because you step outside and it's just like a sweat. I know, not good. Yeah, I was outside for 10 minutes with my daughter today and I said we've got to go back inside us way too much money to shower now we need to shower. So we're not gonna be seeing any relief from the heat this week. Unfortunately, that is gonna be sticking with us as we head into the next several days and those heat index readings are going to be a big problem. We're gonna take a live look out in Lebanon to start things off here. Got a little bit of cloud cover out there, some puffy cumulus clouds. I think they're going to be hard pressed to really grow a whole lot today. But I think we could see an isolated shower too as we head through the last part of this evening. A couple more hours of opportunities for that. All we're seeing right now in Kent County is really just a very light shower around kenton pinar morning view. So these aren't gonna go anywhere very quickly. We don't have a ton of wind today. So some very light showers, Maybe a locally heavy downpour if we can get one of those clouds to grow tall enough this afternoon, but really weak cold front here, not allowing for a lot of opportunities for that. It's going to try to make its way in warm front will eventually start to lift north as we head into the next couple of days. So that's gonna keep us in that really hot air mass as we head into the new week. Future cash showing what's going to happen with some rain chances over the next couple of days here I think. Clear as we head through tonight. Maybe some high thin clouds. But that's about it. And I think that sunshine does stay with us as we head into tomorrow afternoon and evening. Monday should actually be a nice dry day. This model kicking out a couple of spotty sprinkles in the afternoon. Might have a little bit of cloud cover for the late part of the day. But a lot of us staying dry through monday and now it actually looks like Tuesday going to be a pretty quiet afternoon for us. More heat and humidity and some sunshine forecast overnight tonight. Mostly clear and monkey. I think we dropped around 70 degrees. Some rural areas getting to the high sixties as we head through tonight. And then for tomorrow about 91. But that heat index when you factor in that humidity, it's going to feel more like the mid 90s. And I think there will be cities. Let's see those triple digit heat index readings again tomorrow. And that's just gonna be the picture here over the next several days. We're not going to get rid of those nineties. I think it really just here to stay just heats up more through Wednesday.
