					A man was arrested in Santa Fe, New Mexico, after police said he broke into a home where he drank some beer, ate some shrimp and took a bath. Police said the homeowner found the intruder inside his home on the city’s southwest side. The man told the homeowner he needed a warm place to stay, apologized for breaking in and left $200 on a chair to pay for the window he broke to get inside, police said.The intruder then left the home, taking his bag with him that the homeowner said contained an AR-style rifle. The next day, Santa Fe police received a call about a man matching the intruder's description trying to steal a vehicle. Police said they found the man identified as Teral Christesson and took him into police custody. When asked about the incident the day before, he said he was trapped in a blizzard and was scared he would freeze to death. Christesson was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary, larceny and criminal damage to property. Watch the video above for the full story.

					911 calls are shedding light on the moments after the shooting on the film set of "Rust" Thursday that killed the directory of photography. You can listen to the 911 call in the video above. In the tapes, a script supervisor is heard asking for help immediately. The supervisor is heard saying they were rehearsing when she heard the gun go off. She mentions seeing someone doubled over. She goes on to identify those shot as the film’s director and a camerawoman. We now know she was referring Joel Souza, "Rust" director, and Halyna Hutchinson, director of photography.Actor Alec Baldwin discharged the prop gun that fatally wounded Hutchinson and injured Souza. The 911 dispatcher asks the caller if the gun was loaded with real bullets, but the script supervisor says she didn't know.

<p>
					A new treatment for COVID-19 is in the works.Dr. Linda Gorgos, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, is heading the trial for the experimental antiviral drug called Molnupiravir. She says the medication shuts the virus down so that it cannot replicate or make copies of itself. "The idea is that you try to shut the infection down early, before it can even set itself up or if in the off chance that you have already gotten infected, it will make the illness milder," Dr. Gorgos said. "It is really an exciting option to have to offer people something as prevention because we haven't had that before outside of vaccination." It's an oral pill, so you won't have to receive an injection. In fact, its primary use is for people who don't have the COVID-19 vaccine. "We know that people who are already vaccinated have that level of protection against getting sick with COVID-19 and getting infected," Dr. Gorgos said. So how often do you have to take the treatment for it to be effective? Dr. Gorgos said participants in the trial will take the medication orally for four or five days to test the effects.She says the trial is already in advanced stages, "COVID prevention is really exciting for us, and we're excited to have the opportunity to bring that science to New Mexico."The clinical trial is currently only accepting people 18 and older. You must be in a household of 10 people or less to be eligible.Watch the video above for more on this story.
