Police arrested four teenagers Thursday after police said they stole a car and led them on a chase.

The high-speed chase went onto the lawn at Glen Hills Middle School in Glendale, Wisconsin, during dismissal.

“When he just comes across the lawn that was the scariest part of it," said Pastor Kasandra Williams, the grandparent of a 4th grader at the school. “We were just kind of thanking God that you know none of the other kids got hurt.”

According to a district-wide voicemail from the Glendale River Hills School District Superintendent Alyson Eisch, gym teachers moved students to a safe area and administrators stopped dismissal. She said they continued dismissal once police verified the situation was safe.

Glendale police told sister station WISN that the driver was a 13-year-old boy, and the passengers were a 13-year-old boy, a 14-year-old girl, and a 16-year-old girl. All four suspects live in Milwaukee.

Police did not say where the teens allegedly stole the car from in Milwaukee.

"It’s shocking," said Jordan Wanner, a parent to three kids at the school. "It seems to be the trend now, where kids are doing this kind of thing, putting everybody’s life at risk, putting their own lives at risk. Yeah, it has to stop.”

Similar incidents unfolded at Milwaukee Marshall High School this summer.

“I think if we can get back to parenting, you wouldn’t have situations like this whether it’s in Glendale, Menomonee Falls or Milwaukee, because it’s happening all around," Williams said. “It’s children who aren’t parented right. Period.”

No one was injured in this incident.

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles County sheriff says the rollover that seriously injured Tiger Woods was “purely an accident” on a downhill section of road known for crashes.

Sheriff Alex Villanueva says that stretch of road "has had quite a few accidents over the years," and that "this stretch of road is challenging," he added.

During a Facebook live press briefing Wednesday afternoon, Villanueva said there will be a cause determined for the accident, but Woods will not face a reckless driving charge.

"We don't contemplate any charges whatsoever in this crash. This remains an accident, accident is not a crime," Villanueva said.

The speed limit on that section of road is posted at 45mph, and Villanueva said "that is the maximum" and that depending on the conditions, drivers may need to go slower. The sheriff says they do not know how fast Woods was going and they hope to learn that after assessing data from the vehicle.

Harbor-UCLA Medical Center’s chief medical officer says Woods shattered bones in his lower right leg in multiple locations, with additional injuries in the ankle and foot.

A statement on his Twitter account says he was awake and recovering.

Video from Florida shows that the quick thinking of a crossing guard supervisor saved a young girl from getting hit by a car.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) shared the video of Kathleen Quinn from Jan. 27 in honor of Crossing Guard Appreciation Day.

A seven-year-old was crossing the intersection in Valrico, Florida, when a car swept through.

Even though Quinn was in the middle of the road, with her stop sign raised above her head, the driver did not slow down.

She reached for the young girl, who was walking her bike across the street, and prevented what could have been a tragic accident, HCSO said.

Heroic crossing guard supervisor saves girl from being hit by car

Mia Carlson witnessed the incident as she waited for her daughter on the other side of the road. Overcome with gratitude, Carlson contacted the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office to report Quinn's heroic actions.

"Ms. Kathleen Quinn is nothing less than a hero," Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "Though she has only served two years as a crossing guard, she undoubtedly possesses the skills and, above all, the intuition needed to perform this critical duty. Without hesitation, she stepped into harm's way to protect a child from a reckless driver. I am overwhelmed with pride to say she is part of our team of dedicated crossing guards who treat every child on their route as their own and ensure they get to and from school safely."

According to HCSO, 295 crossing guards help the county's children get to and from school safely.
